Threat for storms to linger into Friday

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. There is a slight chance for a passing shower or storm. Chances will increase toward and shortly after daybreak. Temperatures fall into the middle 60s.

Friday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chance for passing showers and storms. Storms that do develop in the afternoon could pose an isolated damaging wind threat. It will be warm and breezy outside of storms with highs in the middle 70s.

Saturday: A front will stall just south of the region, and it should keep showers out of the area. However, mid to high clouds will be around filtering the sunshine at times. Highs will be in the middle 70s.

Sunday: The day will start with partly cloudy skies but clouds will increase during the afternoon. There will be the chance for a passing shower or storm late in the day, especially north of Dayton, then gradually spreading southward Sunday night. Temperatures during the day will reach back into the middle 70s.

Monday: Skies will begin to clear with cooler, breezier conditions. Highs will be in the upper 60s.

Tuesday: Expect mostly sunny skies and pleasant temperatures in the lower 70s.
