Woman dies from injuries in crash, infant survives

The woman ejected from her vehicle in a crash on Dayton-Farmersville Road earlier this month has died from her injuries.

Kasandra Cheek, 23, died Saturday after she was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by a medical helicopter following the April 6 crash, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

An infant was in the vehicle and suffered injuries not believed to be life threatening, according to the report.
