Women’s League to host Common Core discussion

The Beavercreek Women’s League will host a discussion about Common Core educational standards on Wednesday, Sept. 3. The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton Xenia Rd.

The Common Core program begins at 10:30 a.m. The Common Core standards, established in 2009, are being implemented this school year.

The panel includes: Tom Lasley, a professor of educational leadership for the University of Dayton; Bill McGlothlin, superintendent of Beavercreek schools; and Susan Hayward, director of curriculum and instruction for Beavercreek schools. STAFF REPORT
