Police are investigating a shooting in the 3000 block of Lakeridge Court in Dayton that left one person injured.

The victim is believed to have been hit at least once in the lower back, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, and a medic unit is on scene.
The incident was reported just after 10 p.m. on a report of gunfire.
