WPAFB forecast: Another dreary day, unseasonable temperatures

It will be another dreary day with on and off rain likely, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Despite the rain, temperatures will be unseasonably mild, reaching into the lower 60s by late afternoon.

The rain will increase in coverage and may become heavy at times by late afternoon and again this evening as a cold front moves into the area.

Showers will linger into Friday morning.

As temperatures fall Friday, the rain may briefly mix with snow before ending.

Dry conditions are expected Friday night into Saturday with a chance of a passing rain or snow showers Saturday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will start the weekend in the upper 30s but moderate on Sunday and on President's Day.
