WPAFB Thursday Weather: Rain showers, gusty winds continue toward week’s end

Downpours will drop visibility quickly and will increase the threat for ponding on the roads.

Several rounds of heavy rain will work across the area during the day. A line of more enhanced rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms will cross the area late afternoon into the evening.

Winds will increase and could gust between 30 to 40 mph from late afternoon through the evening. Highs for the day rise into the lower 60s.
