15-year-old robbery suspect fatally shot by Columbus police

A 15-year-old armed with a gun was shot and killed by police Thursday evening in Columbus.

Two officers fired at 15-year-old Abdirahman Salad during a confrontation in a CVS pharmacy, according to our partners at 10TV.  Salad later died at a hospital.

Salad was suspected of robbing the pharmacy, according to 10TV.

The officers, who have not been identified, were not hurt.

The shooting is under investigation.
