FIRST REPORT
Jersey, the cow statue that was blown off the roof of Young’s Jersey Dairy’s restaurant when strong winds came through the Miami Valley Saturday, is “out of surgery, (and is) up and mooooooooving around,” the company announced on its Facebook page Wednesday.
Young’s has been posting daily updates on its Facebook page about the cow’s “recovery” since the incident occurred.
“Since her accident, her herd’s milk production has declined,” according to Wednesday’s update. “A quick visit to them by Jersey reassures them she is doing well and on the mend. Some time in rehab and support by her herd and fans will assure a full recovery. Stay tuned for more updates.”
Jersey has been fully repaired and is expected to be returned to her post atop the restaurant next week.
