Miami Twp. technology firm to move jobs to business park by Christmas

Nearly 40 full-time high-tech jobs will be moving to Mound Business Park in Miamisburg by the end of the year.

The city of Miamisburg in September approved offering Advanced Service Technologies a tax credit package to move a payroll of about $1 million from Lyons Road in Miami Twp. to the business park.

AST Founder and CEO Jerry Abner said in a statement the company plans to make some small maintenance and technology related updates - and will complete the move-in by Christmas.

The Mound site will provide an option to build and expand onto its adjacent property within the complex, according to the statement.

Advanced Service Technologies was founded in 1996 as a retail field service company, according to its website. It specializes in a variety of services, including project management, technology deployment, inventory management, and hardware and software integration.
