Miamisburg bicentennial: Free rides will help with traffic, parking

A free shuttle service will be offered throughout Miamisburg’s eight-day bicentennial celebration, which starts Saturday.

The shuttle will be centered at the Mound Business Park – which has hundreds of parking spaces – and include seven stops around the city’s downtown, where the majority of entertainment and music events are planned, according to bicentennial organizers.

Shuttles will pick up and drop off at: the Mound facility on Mound Avenue; the Miamisburg library at Sixth Street and Linden Avenue; the Miamisburg Community Center on Central Avenue; the Ferry Street parking lot, the Linden and Main Street parking lot, Heritage Village on West Lock Street; and the community parking lot at the Learning Center.

Run times will be Saturday, June 16, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday through Friday, June 17-22, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday, June 23, 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
