A Lincoln, Nebraska, woman said someone broke into her home while she was at work and whoever it was apparently made themselves at home before taking some of the victim’s possessions.
Police said the person had time to be in the home, leaving cigarettes around the home and moving items between floors, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.
The victim said whoever broke in even made a meal before they left with her possessions, including her wedding rings, a ruby ring, groceries, a coffee pot and two garbage cans. In all, the person took about $9,000 worth of items, according to the newspaper.
