Thieves caught on camera making snacks, stealing candy at Maryland theater, police say

It’s perfectly normal to pick up some snacks before attending a movie, but two men took it to another level at a Maryland theater last month.

According to a news release from Baltimore County officials, two men were caught on surveillance cameras making snacks and stealing candy from the Flagship Cinemas Eastpoint in Dundalk.

According to Baltimore County police, an officer on patrol at 3 a.m. Feb. 17 found an unlocked door at the theater, WJZ reported.

When police viewed footage from surveillance cameras, they discovered the pair making themselves snacks at the concession stand and stealing candy before exiting the building, according to the Baltimore County news release. The burglars also sprayed fire extinguishers inside one of the theaters, the release said.
