Sports Clips to open Beavercreek hair salon near The Greene

A new hair salon is hiring and gearing up to open in Beavercreek.

Sports Clips, which specializes in men's cuts, is renovating tenant space at 4416 Indian Ripple Road in Greene Crossing, the retail center across from The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek.

The eight-chair salon is shooting for a Nov. 17 opening, Jeanelle Phillips, business manager for the new salon, told this news outlet in a phone interview.

Sports Clips operates seven Dayton-area locations — in the Town & Country Shopping Center in Kettering, in Miami Twp. near the Dayton Mall, in the Sugarcreek Plaza near I-675 and Wilmington Pike, on North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek, in the Marketplace at Settlers Walk in Springboro, and on South Main Street in Englewood — along with locations in Springfield, Middletown and Lebanon, according to its web site.

In addition to hair styling, Sports Clips offers packages such as “The MVP Haircut Experience,” which includes a haircut, hot steamed towel, shampoo, and neck-and shoulder-treatment. No appointment is necessary.
