Construction update: Overnight lane closures downtown

As work continues in the final stages of the Interstate 75 rebuild through downtown Dayton, there will be overnight lane closures this week.

They’ll be on I-75 south between Main Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard; on I-75 north between Stanley Avenue and Wagner Ford Road; and on I-75 south between Dixie Drive and SR 725.

Here are the other closures for the week of June 20:

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

• U.S. 33 east near Blackhoof Street, lane closure through June 26. One eastbound lane will remain open.

• District Wide - Installing Pavement markers on Auglaize U.S. 33, SR 66, SR 67, SR 197, SR 219, SR 364, SR 703.

• SR 65 between Southland Road and Sellers Road, lane closures through July 30 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through use of flaggers.

• I-75 between SR 274 and National Road, lane closures through July 29 between the hours of 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

• U.S. 36 between Heck Road and Zimmerman Road, lane closures June 20 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will be maintained for travel in each direction.

• SR 4 between the Clark County line and the Mechanicsburg south corporation limit, lane closures through Aug. 31. One lane will be maintained for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.

CLARK COUNTY

• I-70 eastbound at SR 4, daily lane closure June 20-21 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Two eastbound lanes will remain open.

• District Wide - Installing Pavement markers on Clark SR 571, SR 235, I-70, SR 4, SR 41, SR 334, SR 42, SR 54, various lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• I-70 west between Enon Road and SR 4, nightly lane closures through July 1 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open to westbound motorists.

• Old Mill Road between Rebert Pike and Dayton-Springfield Road, bridge closed through July 5. The official detour: Rebert Pike to Innisfallen Avenue to Dayton-Springfield Road to Tecumseh Road.

• SR 41 between Titus Road/Ridge Road and Gateway Boulevard, lane closures through July 14. Traffic will be shifted to one side of the bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction.

DARKE COUNTY

• SR 722 between SR 503 and Friday Road, bridge closed through July 5. The official detour: SR 503 to U.S. 127 to SR 722.

• SR 47 between Greenlawn Avenue and Water Street, bridge closed through July 11. The official detour: U.S. 127 to SR 121 to SR 185.

• SR 47 between SR 118 and Tiger Way in Ansonia, road closed through Aug. 31. The official detour: SR 118 to SR 705 to U.S. 127.

GREENE COUNTY

• Bridge deck replacement means a temporary signal on U.S. 68 over Painters Creek, just north of the Greene/Clinton line, beginning June 20. The temporary signal will be used to maintain one lane of two-way traffic on U.S. 68 for 120 days.

MIAMI COUNTY

• I-75 north at Northwoods Boulevard, daily lane closures June 21-22 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Two northbound lanes will remain open.

• I-75 between Northwoods Boulevard and SR 41, nightly lane closures June 26 – 30 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• District Wide- Installing Pavement markers on Miami SR 718, SR 721, SR 55, SR 202, SR 41, various lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

• I-75 south between Main Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, overnight lane closure June 21 at 10 p.m. to June 22 at 5 a.m. One southbound lane will remain open.

• U.S. 35 east between James H. McGee Boulevard and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, overnight lane closure June 20 at 8 p.m. to June 21 at 6 a.m. One eastbound lane will remain open.

• I-75 north between Stanley Avenue and Wagner Ford Road, overnight lane closure June 21 at 9:30 p.m. through June 22 at 5 a.m. Two northbound lanes will remain open.

• I-75 south between Dixie Drive and SR 725, overnight lane closure June 20 at 9:30 p.m. through June 21 at 5 a.m. One southbound lane will remain open.

• SR 4 south ramp to Valley Street, shoulder closure June 20 to July 1. The ramp will remain open.

• I-70 east ramp to I-75 south, nightly lane closure June 20-23 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open on the ramp.

• I-75 north and south between SR 725 and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, nightly lane closures June 22-23 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• District Wide - Installing Pavement markers on Montgomery SR 40, SR 49, SR 725, SR 741, various lane closures June 14 to July 15 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• I-75 north and south between I-675 and South Dixie Drive, nightly lane closures June 20-27 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

• I-75 southbound ramp to U.S. 35 westbound, ramp closures June 20-23 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour: I-75 south to Edwin C. Moses Boulevard to I-75 north to U.S. 35 west.

• I-75 south between Main Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, nightly lane closures June 20-24 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Two southbound lanes will remain open.
