DILLOW, Gloria J.

GLORIA J. DILLOW, 77, of Springfield, went home to be with the lord after complications from a stroke January 2, 2021. She was born in Springfield on June 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Walter and Phoebe (Goff) Rice. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William H. "Bill" Dillow; children, Dennis (Michele) Dillow, Dave (Shelley) Dillow, Beth (Jeff) O'Brien, and Barbie (Mike) Edington; grandchildren, Kellie (Dave) Kochan, Jill (Cary) Barber, Keith (Ali) Dillow, Stephanie (Chad) Koster, Billy (Megan) Dillow, Katie (Joe) O'Brien, Joey, Amanda and Kyle Brown, and Maddi and Tori Smith; and great-grandchildren, Eli, Hayden, Jackson, Andrew, Scarlett, and two on the way. Also surviving are siblings, Larry Rice, Rick (Janie) Rice, Mark (Cindy) Rice, and Drew Bostic; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Stella Conner. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Glen Bostic and grandson Jeffrey O'Brien.

Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. She was a faithful member of her church, New

Covenant Church. She devoted her life to her family, instilling the love of Jesus in them and all that she knew. She will be

remembered for her kind loving heart, generosity, her sense of humor and infectious laugh. Gloria's free time was spent preserving memories for her children and grandchildren through her artwork, scrapbooking and genealogy. She will forever be the glue holding our family together. She will be desperately missed but we find comfort in knowing that she walks freely and painless with her best friend and savior, Jesus Christ.

A celebration of Gloria's life will be held at a later date. The LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. You may express condolences to the family at
