Dayton-area man crowned ‘Chili Boss’

Everybody thinks they have a boss chili.

Only one man has a plaque to prove it.

Springboro resident Bill Lawton recently took home the top honors in Crooked Handle Brewing Company's Boss Chili Competition.

A panel of judges that included's Amelia Robinson favored Lawton's chili over about 15 others.

He also won the Springboro brewery’s second annual chili People’s Choice award.
