Stop-N-Save Foods, 36 W. Third St. next to the Arcade, will start serving Hunt Brothers Pizza on Tuesday, May 21 and Genuine Broaster Chicken on Thursday, May 23, owner Joe Abboud told this news organization this morning.

“I noticed a need,” Abboud said. “Sometimes we don’t have enough time to sit down in a restaurant.”
Free pizza samples will be given out Tuesday.

Abboud and his father, Abboud "Tony" Abboud, have owned the grocery store since 1997.
The addition of the franchises are among $80,000 in improvements Abboud has made to the store since 2016.

They include a new salad bar, paint, coolers, flooring and fresh-made sandwiches from the deli.

News of development downtown prompted the changes.
The Arcade is coming back open,” Joe Abboud said. “We felt the need to let loose a little bit and expand more.”

Abboud said the addition of Hunt Brothers and Genuine Broaster may mean as many as five new hires.
“We will be selling food the whole day,” he said.
Hunts Brothers Pizza has more than 7,500 locations in 28 states. Its menu includes “original” and thin crust pizza, chicken wings and wing bites.
Genuine Broaster Chicken’s menu includes potato wedges, biscuits, chicken tenders, wings and chicken-piece dinners.
