For every $5  it raises by its Beavercreek and Centerville locations, City Barbeque, the winner of Dayton.com Best of Dayton barbecue category,  will provide a slow-smoked sandwich and two homemade sides valued at $12 to a health care worker at Kettering Medical Center.

One of the Dayton area’s favorite BBQ joints is thanking doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel and hospital staff on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis with slow-smoked meat.

For every $5 raised at its Beavercreek and Centerville locations, City Barbeque, the winner of Dayton.com’s Best of Dayton barbecue category, will provide a slow-smoked sandwich and two homemade sides valued at $12 to a health care worker at Kettering Medical Center.

"We are grateful to medical professionals nationwide working around the clock to keep us all safe," Rick Malir, founder and CEO of the chain headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, said as part of a press release. "This is a great opportunity to show health care workers in our communities how much we appreciate them, and we're pleased to partner with our guests in showing our thanks."

Customers can also donate to the health care workers' program while placing their orders at order.citybbq.com or in the City Barbeque app.

This option is available on all orders: delivery, curbside pickup and carryout.
