Twenty-seven former Pilots athletic standouts will make up the first class. Many have indicated they will attend the ceremony.

Former longtime University of Dayton men’s basketball coach Don Donoher will be the featured speaker.

Meineke was a 1948 Wilbur Wright grad and is considered to be among the best basketball players at UD. He was an All-American with the Flyers and led them to runner-up NIT finishes in 1951 and ’52. He died in September.
