More rain is likely in the Dayton area as we start the work-week

Clouds will linger and a few more showers are expected overnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said. Some weather models hint at a couple of thunderstorms before daybreak Monday, but the threat for severe weather remains low. Lows overnight will be in the lower 60s.

  • Chance for rain through most of Monday
  • Drying out starting Tuesday
  • Chance for rain returns closer to next weekend


Monday: Rain is expected through parts of the day, with the best chances coming in the morning. There could be a few storms before daybreak. Eventual highs will be in the middle 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Rain will taper off through the afternoon and evening.
