Beavercreek firm gets share of $46.5M defense contract

Beavercreek-based Woolpert Inc. was awarded a share of a $46,564,206 federal contract by the U.S. Air Force 763rd Specialized Contracting Squadron, the Department of Defense has announced.

The contract is for geospatial tasks and support functions for improved shared situational awareness and decision making across various levels of military hierarchy, including individual, installation and management headquarters levels.

The contract includes technical assistance at the headquarters of the Air Force, field operating agencies, other Air Force operating bases and support of deployed military personnel at forward operating locations.

Woolpert was founded in Dayton in 1911, has more than 800 employees and 28 offices nationwide. Its headquarters is found on the Beavercreek side of County Line Road.
