The new Huber Heights location will offer carry-out and catering in addition to dine-in service, and it will be operated by franchisee Marcus McGhee of Dayton, who has 25 years experience in the restaurant industry, Peebles said.
OinkADoodleMoo will open a sixth location, also a franchise, in September along U.S. 40 in Richmond, Ind., the chain’s founder said. It will be the first outside Ohio, and the first to have drive-through capability, although the window will be used only for order pickup initially, Peebles said.
Founded in 2009, OinkADoodleMoo operates restaurants in Englewood, Kettering, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and in downtown Dayton. A year ago, it closed a location in Troy that had been open for nine months. Peebles said the chain is generating interest nationwide among potential franchisees, but is focusing on further developing the Dayton-area market and opening up the Cincinnati- and Columbus-area markets.
In June 2012, the chain was named one of Forbes “Hot Little Restaurant Chains You Can Buy Into Now” list, one of only five small chains in the country to be mentioned.
