Marvel fans can look forward to a new trailer for "Captain Marvel" during tonight's Monday Night Football on ESPN.
The Disney-owned company made the announcement last night when it released the poster for the movie.
"Captain Marvel," starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, introduces a new superhero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It takes place during the '90s and will likely explain why Captain Marvel has not been seen in previous MCU movies.
"With Captain Marvel, she is as powerful a character as we've ever put in a movie," Marvel maestro Kevin Feige told Vulture. "Her powers are off the charts, and when she's introduced, she will be by far the strongest character we've ever had."
The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Boden is the first woman to direct an MCU movie.
