Dayton take-out restaurant has closed

DT's Kitchen, we hardly knew ye.

The take-out joint, catering to the East Dayton neighborhoods from its location at 2920 Wayne Ave., specialized in burgers, wings and was featured on Dayton.com as makers of one of the best cheesesteaks in the Dayton area.

It's unclear when the business officially closed or why, however, customers noted little to no activity in mid November. Repeated attempts to contact owner Darcy Tucker were unsuccessful.

This is the latest in a series of short-lived establishments for the location in recent years, which has been host to pizza parlors, a restaurant specializing in carnival-style food and an online smoked salmon business in that time frame.
