‘America’s Got Talent’ favorite to perform in Dayton tonight

A familiar face from “America’s Got Talent” will be in town tonight for a one-night standup show at the Dayton Funny Bone.

Samuel J. Comroe was a struggling club comic when he appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2018.

While he failed to win the grand prize on season 13 of the televised competition, the experience took the funnyman with Tourette’s Syndrome from mid-level act to a top club draw.

Comroe, who garnered more primetime television exposure earlier this year when he was invited back for “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” comes to town for a one-night engagement at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 88 Plum St., The Greene, Beavercreek, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 13.

Cost: $15-$47. Call 937-429-LAFF (5233) or visit www.daytonfunnybone.com.
