WHIO Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs joins Dayton Daily News reporters in ‘Walking The Path of the Storm’

Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs is joining Dayton Daily News reporters Chris Stewart and Josh Sweigart in an ongoing series where, together, they will walk the path of the largest tornado that hit the Miami Valley region on Memorial Day.

The first part of the series airs tonight on News Center 7 at 5 p.m.

The EF-4 tornado tore a path all the way across Montgomery County, destroying and damaging hundreds of homes and businesses.

Vrydagh’s story, along with Stewart and Sweigart’s Sunday Dayton Daily News piece, will be the first in the multiple-part series over the coming months.

Along the way, the team is gauging recovery efforts and asking survivors what obstacles they are facing as they work to get back on their feet.
