3 injured after car crashes into RTA pole in Harrison Twp.

Three people were injured Thursday evening after a car crashed into a pole in Harrison Twp.

Deputies were dispatched around 5 p.m. to a report of an injury crash after a 2022 Nissan Altima turning from Turner Road to southbound state Route 48 slid on wet pavement and hit an RTA pole, according to a the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the vehicle is a woman with minor injuries. A woman riding in the front passenger seat was taken to Kettering Health Dayton.

Two girls were in the back seat of the car, and one was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Speed and weather conditions are suspected contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation, deputies said.
