Jenny Wood, a spokeswoman for Northmont, said the district is working as quickly as they can to deal with the problem and to clean up so students can be back in class.
Wood said there was a sprinkler head malfunction at the high school. The district doesn’t know what caused the malfunction.
The district hopes the high school will be back in session Tuesday, but it’s not clear if that will happen yet.
