Over 7K without power, wind advisory in effect through the evening

A total of 7,640 area residents are without power this afternoon following Friday’s overnight storms and continued high winds on Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in effect until 7 p.m. Saturday for portions of central and west central Ohio. Residents can expect winds at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
