Dayton man indicted for arson in December house fire

A 35-year-old Dayton man is accused of intentionally setting fire to a house while a man was inside.

Daryl Tavon Davis is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday for two counts of aggravated arson in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court following his indictment Friday by a Montgomery County grand jury.

The charges are connected to Dec. 8 fire ruled arson in the 40 block of West Fairview Avenue in Dayton.

Davis remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his Dec. 8 arrest.
