When they arrived, they found the victim on the sidewalk, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Jefferson Twp. medics took the victim to Miami Valley Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Deputies investigating the shooting found several rounds struck a home. Deputies checked the area but did not find any other victims, the release stated.
No arrests have been made, and the release did not provide information on any suspects in the shooting, which remains under investigation.
