Power restored in Brookville area; schools on two-hour delay

Brookville Local Schools is operating on a two-hour delay after a power outage in the area left more than 2,000 Dayton Power & Light customers in the dark.

The single outage involves 2,047 customers and was reported at 5:19 a.m.

Service has since been restored, with only one customer in Preble County experiencing an outage as of 8:50 a.m.

“Approximately 2,000 customers are without power in the Brookville, West Alexandria and Lewisburg area due to an auto accident,” DP&L posted on Twitter. “Crews are onsite working to restore power quickly and safely.”
