There have been 73,822 cases and 3,132 deaths from coronavirus reported in Ohio as of Saturday, July 18, the Ohio Department of Health reported.
A total of 1,542 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.

Ohio face mask health order extends to 19 counties
As of 6 p.m. Friday, 19 counties will be under a state public health order requiring face masks.
Wednesday afternoon, Gov. Mike DeWine released an updated statewide alert level map, which showed that 19 counties, including Montgomery and Butler, were at level 3. Any counties at levels 3 and 4 fall under the mask order.
Those 19 counties make up nearly 60% of Ohio’s population, DeWine said.
Both Montgomery and Butler counties have been under the mask order since it was first announced earlier this week.

Public Health of Montgomery County warns against large gatherings
Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County is warning against attending or hosting large gatherings of 10 or more people after receiving reports of graduation and pool parties being thrown in the area.
Large gatherings pose a significant risk of spreading coronavirus and can endanger the community at large, according to public health.
Though homes are exempt from a state public health order limiting gatherings to 10 people, public health still advises against hosting large gatherings.

Public health urges people to get testing as coronavirus surges
Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County urged people who have been in crowds and anyone showing symptoms of coronavirus to get tested.
Montgomery County is seeing nearly five times as many cases per day as it was a month ago, meaning there are more people who have been exposed to the virus, according to health officials.
People who gone to bars, restaurants, protests and other social activity recently are among those public health are urging to get tested.

Miamisburg 2-day pool party could lead to outbreak, health officials say
Public health officials are trying to contact dozens of teens who attended a two-day pool party and sleepover in Miamisuburg on July 11 and 12 after one person at the party contracted coronavirus.
As many as 50 people were at the party, which included sleepovers at two locations.
Anyone who attended should contact Public Health - Dayton and Montgomery County at 937-818-6715.
They should also self-monitor for signs of coronavirus and contact their doctor is any symptoms develop.
