SPRINGDALE — A Fairfield woman and a 17-year-old boy are behind bars, accused in the fatal shooting of a Princeton High School football player.

Police say Tiana Sullivan, 22, shot 18-year-old Lamar Williams last week around 3 a.m. July 20 while fleeing the scene of an armed robbery at the Willows Apartments on Chesterdale Court in Springdale.

Sullivan, Williams and the teen, who is not being named because of his age, allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint at the apartment complex. As the trio fled the scene, Springdale police say their gun went off, sending a bullet into Williams’ neck. Sullivan drove Williams to Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was transferred to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Williams was a two-year starter at safety on the Princeton football team and was a member of the Class of 2012. He split classroom time between Princeton and Live Oaks Career Development Campus in Sharonville.

Sullivan and the teen were arrested Wednesday night and both are charged with aggravated robbery and also with murder because the shooting of their alleged accomplice occurred during the commission of a felony, according to authorities. Sullivan, who was arraigned Thursday in Hamilton County Municipal Court remains in the Hamilton County Justice Center in lieu of a $300,000 bond. The teen, who is being held at the juvenile detention center in Cincinnati, has a hearing next week that could begin the process of binding his case over to adult court.
