Murder suspect Thomas Robinson attempted to take a Cincinnati police officer’s firearm in an interview room at the police station, and video surveillance of the incident has been released.

Robinson is accused of killing 17-year-old Joseph Reno Armstrong June 16 at a Westwood apartment complex.

When Robinson was taken in for questioning he allegedly reached for an officer’s gun while the officer was exchanging handcuffs on the suspect.

Additional officers responded during the struggle and while Robinson is heard in the video repeatedly shouting, “Kill me!” an officer deploys a Taser and subdued him.

Robinson is being held on $1.5 million bond on suspicion of murder, aggravated robbery and assault charges among others.
