Report: Woman shot on Home Avenue on New Year’s Eve

Dayton police are investigating the shooting of a 27-year-old woman at a Home Avenue home.

Officers responded around 4:06 p.m. on New Year’s Eve to the 2500 block of Home Avenue and found the woman with an apparent gunshot wound, according to the police report.

The woman was taken to Grandview Medical Center for treatment.

Her condition is not known.

It is not clear whether there are any suspects in the case.
