Riverside man indicted in robbery, assault

A 31-year-old man is due in court Thursday to face four felony charges stemming from a robbery and assault earlier this month in Riverside.

Roy Lee Gosnell Jr. of Riverside was indicted on two counts each of aggravated robbery and felonious assault in connection to an April 12 incident in Riverside.

He has been held in the Montgomery County Jail since his April 12 arrest by Riverside police at his home in the 1700 block of Brant Pike.

Formal charges were filed against him April 14 by Riverside police, and he was indicted Monday by a Montgomery County grand jury, online court documents show.
