A man wanted in the deadly shooting of a Dayton man outside an apartment complex earlier this month was captured near Columbus, according to police.
Karlton Jones, 24, is facing two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault in the death of Chendo “BJ” Buford Jr.
Police announced the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Jones.
On March 2, police responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Northcrest Drive at Eagle Ridge Apartments.
Buford, 26, was found in the street with gunshot wounds, according to a court affidavit.
He died at the scene.
