Teen arrested in Greenon High bomb threat

A 13-year-old Greenon High School student is expected in court soon to answer to a charge of criminal damaging/endangering after a sheriff's deputy was able to determine the student wrote a bomb threat on the wall of the girls bathroom.

The principal on Monday contacted a Clark County Sheriff's Office Educational Support deputy on a report that someone had written "I am going to bomb this school" on a wall in the bathroom.

The school was not put on lock down during the investigation, during which the deputy was able to determine that the female student who reported the threat also wrote it, according to a sheriff's office.

The student has been suspended and is to be in Clark County Juvenile Court at a later date.
