Teen robbed at gunpoint in Dayton

A 14-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint as he was leaving an RTA bus stop Tuesday evening.

The victim was walking in an alley just south of Pointview and east of North Main Street when he heard a man yelling at him to “come here,” according to a Dayton Police report.

The victim told police he couldn’t see the man due to the sun and walked closer. He then realized there were three men he didn’t recognize and took off running.

One man caught up to the victim and displayed a silver handgun, the release said. A second man wearing a blue-and-white-striped shirt demanded the victim’s cellphone.

The victim shouted no when the man attempted to take his phone. A third man then put an additional handgun on the victim’s side, according to the report.

The three males took the victim’s cellphone, black hair pick and his homework.
