A Texas man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison in connection with a July incident at Kings Island.

Rodney Grisham, 37, Thursday was given a 36-month prison term with 124 days already served by Warren County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Peeler.

Grisham has been housed in the Warren County Jail since his arrest in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
Grisham was convicted of having weapons under a disability because he has a previous felony conviction and drug possession, but the plea avoided a trial. There wasn't enough evidence to indict Grisham for higher additional charges that alerted police in the July 3 incident.

Peeler found Grisham guilty based on the facts of the case.
