DPS was criticized at its recent town hall meeting for not soliciting student input as it crafts its strategic plan. It came up again at a more-recent community event sponsored by the Dayton Daily News.

The Path Forward: The region must rally to fix the Dayton Public Schools

Earlier this year, we profiled five students who represent the best of the district. In recorded interviews with four of them, we also asked them – DPS' best and brightest – what's missing from the public's discussion of their school.
