According to the preliminary investigation, the woman on the bike was headed south on the North Spring Street overpass and hit a vehicle headed west on E. North Street, the sergeant said.
The bike rider suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the accident reported about 8:15 p.m., the sergeant said.
