Brutal cold forcing wast collection delays in some neighborhoods

The cold snap is forcing delays in waste collection days in the city of Centerville and for Kettering residents who are customers of Waste Management or Fricold Wast Management, officials said Tuesday.

In Centerville: Waste and recycling pick up will be delayed one day for the rest of this week. That means scheduled Wednesday pickup will occur Thursday and the scheduled Thursday pickup will be Friday.
In Kettering: Due to continuing cold weather, Waste Management will delay collection for all Thursday Kettering routes until Saturday, Feb. 2.
