According to police on the scene, a tire caught fire on a semi truck that was carrying food products. The right lane remains closed.
INITIAL REPORT:
Emergency crews are responding to a report of a semi truck on fire on eastbound Interstate 70 near the Interstate 675 interchange in Mad River Township.
According to the Department of Transportation’s OHGO map, the right lane is closed around the 45 mile marker.
Mad River Township Fire officials have said that the fire is under control.
