“It started attacking me like I was some kind of chew toy,” Agee said. “It all happened so fast. I was terrified. I mean, I didn’t think I was going to get away.”
The bites were enough to send Agee to a local hospital. The mother of two has wounds on her left arm and the backs of her upper thighs.
“I’m just glad my kids weren’t out there because they would not have been as lucky,” Agree said.

Greene County Animal Control said the dog is being quarantined in its home for 10 days. They will investigate and may turn information over to the prosecutor’s office, which could press charges against the owner and/or have the dog labeled a dangerous animal to be euthanized.
The dog’s owner said his dog was provoked.

But neighbors disagree, and said they’ve seen the dog act aggressively before.
“As soon as that dog saw my son, he took off running dead ahead,” said Amanda Zink. “The whole time he came across the street, he was barking and growling.”
Zink’s family was able to get inside. But Agee said she is afraid another family might not have enough time.
“If it does get free, it’s going to attack again,” she said.
