The crash temporarily closed the road in both directions, but Springboro Pike reopened shortly after 8:30 a.m.
The SUV was traveling south on Springboro Pike when it went left of center and crashed into a Honda going north.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot and has not been caught.
The driver of the Honda was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
