Helicopter called to aid search in area of Dayton-Cincinnati Pike crash

Crews responded to a crash at Shepherd Road and Dayton-Cincinnati Pike around 4:35 a.m. Reports indicated that a car had crashed into a wooded area.

Reports indicated that officers were unable to find the driver of the vehicle, who was believed to have been ejected from the vehicle. However, Montgomery County dispatch records indicated that the vehicle was stolen and the driver may have fled the scene.
