The City of Fairborn Parks & Recreation Division is offering summer youth camps for ages 6-12 years old from June 9 through July 30.
Camps consist of either three half-day camps, which cost $25 per child, or one full-day camp, which costs $15 per child. All camps are held at Community Park, 691 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road.
A total of eight camps will be offered. Participants will need to bring a filled water bottle. Those attending full-day camps should also bring a packed lunch.

City schedules Memorial Day ceremony
The city of Beavercreek Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 25, at Veterans Memorial Park, 1911 N. Fairfield Road.
Colonel Leah G. Lauderback, Commander of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, is the guest speaker.
Other program participants will be the American Legion Post #763 posting the colors, with VFW Post #8312 raising the flag and giving a 21-gun salute. Beavercreek High School students will be on hand to play taps.
The public is invited to attend. Parking is available on Fairwood Drive and at the Church of the Nazarene. Limited bleacher seating is available, and attendees can bring lawn chairs.

Trail Sentinels to lead night ride
Visitors can enjoy a free evening bicycle ride escorted by Greene County Parks & Trails Trail Sentinels beginning at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 16, from Xenia Station to McDonald’s in Jamestown.
Participants must be over the age of 18, wear a helmet and have lights. Ride will be cancelled in case of a thunderstorm.
The monthly night rides feature different sections of the 62 miles of paved multi-use trails managed by the park agency.
