Groundbreaking ceremony

The township will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday for the start of construction of a path for students in the township and Bellbrook with the Middle and Intermediate Schools.

The groundbreaking will be across from the water tower on the west side of Upper Bellbrook near the Upper Bellbrook Road/Feedwire Road/Pine Court intersection. Funding for the path comes from a a Safe Routes to School grant. Previously, some students had to walk along busy Feedwire and Upper Bellbrook roads.
